Check Out the Gift Caroli Alongside Sifuna, Kibagendi and Babu Owino Presented to Ng'eno’s Widow

Several prominent leaders from the Orange Democratic Movement recently visited the family of the late Johanna Ngeno to offer their condolences following his tragic death in a helicopter crash.

During the emotional visit, the leaders presented a special gift to the late MP’s widow in a gesture meant to support the grieving family.

Among those who attended the condolence visit were Caroli Omondi (popularly known as Gift Caroli), Edwin Sifuna, Antoney Kibagendi, and Babu Owino.

The leaders joined family members and friends at the late MP’s home to mourn with the widow and express solidarity during the difficult time.

According to reports from those present, the group presented the widow with a vehicle, a meaningful and practical gift intended to help her manage daily responsibilities following the sudden loss of her husband.

The gesture was also seen as a symbolic way of honoring the late MP’s legacy and showing that his family would not be left alone during their time of grief.

The death of Johanna Ngeno shocked many Kenyans after the helicopter carrying him crashed in Nandi County, claiming six lives.

The outspoken legislator was widely known for his fearless political views and strong advocacy for his constituents in Emurua Dikirr. His passing left both his supporters and colleagues in deep mourning.

During the visit, the ODM leaders emphasized the importance of standing with families who lose loved ones, especially when the deceased was a public servant.

In Kenyan culture, it is common for friends, relatives, and political allies to offer support through donations such as vehicles, financial assistance, or other essential items to help families cope with sudden loss.

Observers noted that the leaders’ visit highlighted the sense of unity and camaraderie within ODM circles.

As the party’s Secretary-General, Senator Edwin Sifuna has often been visible during moments of national concern, while Babu Owino is also known for participating in community support initiatives.

Those who attended the event described the moment as highly emotional. The widow reportedly expressed deep gratitude to the leaders for their kindness and for remembering her family during such a painful period.

Many people present noted that such gestures demonstrate that leadership is not only about politics but also about compassion and humanity.

The condolence visit came shortly after William Samoei Ruto also visited the family at their home in Karen to comfort them and pay tribute to the late MP.

As Kenyans continue to mourn the loss of Johanna Ngeno, acts of support like this gift serve as a reminder of the country’s strong culture of community solidarity.
