Speaking during a rally in Vihiga County, Mudavadi said the anticipated win would leave critics of the President with no option but to retreat from the political scene.
He added that even those contemplating legal action after the election would abandon such plans once the results are announced.
“Nawasihi kwamba ikifika 2027 tunataka zile kura mheshimiwa Rais atapata kwa debe, hata yule anafikiria ataenda kortini akome na ajifiche,” Mudavadi said.
This loosely translates to: “I urge you that when 2027 comes, we want the votes the President will get in the ballot box to be so overwhelming that anyone thinking of going to court should stop and go into hiding.”
Mudavadi also called on residents of the Western region to register as voters, emphasizing the importance of participation in shaping the country’s leadership.
“I urge the people of this region to register as voters. If you have a National Identification Card, go and register. We want to shame those who are traversing our region, selling false promises and having no agenda for the future of our people,” he added.
The Prime CS was speaking in Mbale Town, where he had accompanied President Ruto during the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the Mbale County Strategic Market in Vihiga County
