"The president must remember that leadership is not about trading insults or body-shaming fellow Kenyans, even those in opposition," the bishop stated in a pointed sermon excerpt shared widely on social media and church platforms. "Such words inflame divisions at a time when our nation desperately needs healing, not more anger. 

We call on President Ruto to rise above the fray, return to the virtues of humility and dialogue he once championed, and focus on delivering on promises rather than escalating personal battles."

The bishop's intervention comes as religious leaders increasingly position themselves as moral arbiters in Kenya's polarized political landscape.
