State House special creatives officer Dennis Itumbi has commented on recent governance challenges at Nairobi Hospital, revealing that some individuals allegedly hired fake delegates to influence votes in attempts to remain in office.

“It’s a serious matter, but sometimes you just have to appreciate the natural comedy even in serious situations,” Itumbi said, highlighting the unusual methods reportedly used to manipulate internal hospital processes.

According to Itumbi, in a desperate bid by certain individuals or factions to remain in office amid an ongoing leadership and governance dispute at the hospital, fake delegates were reportedly mobilized and paid to participate in voting processes. These impostors were allegedly used to sway outcomes in key meetings or elections related to the hospital's board or management structure.

Itumbi shared accompanying images (widely circulated on X, Facebook, and Threads) purportedly showing some of these individuals, emphasizing the "natural comedy" in the situation despite the serious underlying issues. His post read in part:

In attempts to remain in office, fake delegates were hired and used to vote.

Dr. Silverstein and others had to look for the Hospital Patron to intervene and help resolve the issues.
