Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has sparked fresh political debate after alleging that the Linda Mwananchi faction within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is not a genuine grassroots outfit but a project backed by external forces.In a strongly worded statement, Nyamu dismissed the existence of the movement as an independent political force, claiming it is instead linked to former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
