What PHOTO Of Senegalese President Displayed Days After Being Denied AFCON Trophy

In a recent move that was totally unexpected, the CAF stripped Senegal of the AFCON trophy and decided to award it to Morocco, which was nearly 3 months after their finals.

In their reaction, the Senegalese government demanded for an independent international investigation into what was termed as suspected corruption within CAF’s governing bodies, that led to the decision.

In a recent update of Senegal's President profile picture, the President in a move that seemed to suggest the still own the title included the picture of the afcon Trophy behind him.

As reported by CNN Journalist Larry Madowo, the daring photo was similar to the President saying 'come and get it if you can. "Senegal’s president casually updates his social profile pictures to include the AFCON trophy behind him." Wrote the CNN Journalist.
