Bad News For Kindiki? Mbae Alleges The Female Politician Ruto Is Secretly Grooming For DP Seat

Peter Mbae has issued a strong warning to President William Ruto over the ongoing political strategy regarding the Deputy President position ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to Dr. Mbae, the President appears to have settled on Gladys Wanga as his preferred running mate, but this approach may be a miscalculation.

In a recent statement, Dr. Mbae argued that President Ruto is negotiating with the “wrong people,” pointing out that the team of Wanga, Suna Joho, and Julius Mbadi may hold titles, offices, and media influence, but they lack true grassroots support.

“The real power is with the ordinary people, the citizens, the masses,” Dr. Mbae emphasized.

He further explained that ordinary Kenyans — those who live in towns, estates, and villages and turn out to vote — are not following Wanga, Joho, or Mbadi.

Instead, he noted, the electorate gravitates toward leaders who have proven their connection with the people, naming Edwin Sifuna, Winnie Odinga, and Babu Owino as prime examples.

According to Dr. Mbae, the Deputy President position is more than a title or office.
“It’s about who the people trust, who they like, and who they want to follow,” he said.

Leaders like Sifuna, Odinga, and Owino, he argued, have the ability to mobilize crowds, connect with voters on the ground, and bring tangible support from the grassroots.

The political analyst warned that President Ruto risks failure if he continues to prioritize negotiations with Wanga and her allies, describing it as “wasting time.” Instead, he urged the President to focus on leaders with real influence among the electorate.

“Politics is about the people, and if the people are not with you, nothing else matters,” Dr. Mbae stressed.

He concluded with a clear message to the President: recognize where the true power lies. “The people are the power,” Dr. Mbae said, urging President Ruto to engage with leaders who command genuine respect and loyalty among ordinary Kenyans.

By doing so, the President could secure a stronger footing for his political ambitions ahead of the 2027 elections.

The message has sparked discussions across political circles in Kenya, highlighting the ongoing debate on how best to balance party structures, alliances, and grassroots influence in shaping national leadership.
