Ruto Mandated to Lead UDA–ODM Talks Ahead of 2027 General Election

  

President William Ruto has been tasked with leading structured political negotiations between the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) as the country gears up for the 2027 General Election.

In a statement released on Wednesday, UDA confirmed that its National Executive Committee (NEC) had endorsed ODM’s proposal to formalise talks aimed at strengthening cooperation within the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
